About the Nominee: Alexis Graham is a caring, loving teacher who takes the time to work with her students. She works hard and pushes her students to make academic gains, but she also ensures that her students develop into responsible, respectful young people. She has pushed students from being non-readers to readers and even pushed a few to the point where they could successfully be a part of the general education environment. Ms. Graham has worked with students who were shy and withdrawn and encouraged them to become more outspoken and independent. She is truly a LifeChanger who has made a tremendous impact on the lives she has touched.
