About the Nominee: Ashley Pryor was nominated by a colleague, Tearee Easter.Ms. Pryor has been working in education for 18 years. Throughout that time, she has impacted the lives of thousands of students. As a history teacher, more than 50 of her students advanced to the state history fair competition, where they competed against seventh and eighth graders from across the state. Two of her students were able to advance to National History Day, which is rare for 6th graders.As an Instructional Technology Specialist, Ms. Pryor works with students and teachers to create learning environments that are both innovative and inspiring. She continues to volunteer with the History Fair program at Rayford. Additionally, she is an avid supporter and sponsor of Rayford's dance program and works diligently with the leadership team to ensure that students are in a safe, supportive environment. Ms. Pryor is an integral part of her school; her work has a direct influence on the children and families in her community!
