About the Nominee: Blair Peeples was nominated by her principal, Beth Chandler.Mrs. Peeples serves as the lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School (GHE). She also sits on the school leadership team and leads the climate team. As a Pre-K teacher, she inspires GHE's youngest learners to have a love of learning, and all of her students make wonderful progress in her classroom. Mrs. Peeples is a mentor for other Pre-Kindergarten teachers and staff members. She has a way of lighting up every room she enters; every day she spends at GHE, she brings joy to both students and staff.In addition to her work at school, Mrs. Peeples is very active in her community. Over the years, she has led women's Bible study groups, worked in VBS, and served in the nursery and Wednesday evening children's programs at her church. She currently serves on the women's ministry team at her church. Additionally, Mrs. Peeples has supported both the band and performing arts programs at her children's high school.Mrs. Peeples understands the importance of giving back to her community, and she is willing to provide financial support any time GHE has families in need. She is very humble about the fact that she gives generously to abused and neglected animals and several other community and church groups, including local and foreign missions. Mrs. Peeples greets Principal Chandler each morning as they both enter the school and tells her that she always thinks about the students, parents and staff, especially Principal Chandler.It is rare to find someone so inspiring, encouraging and passionate about helping and loving others. She is truly making a difference in many lives at GHE and in her community!
