She strives to develop relationships with her students, their parents, her colleagues and the community. Ms. Hensley's dedication to education is evidenced through over 20 years of service with Onslow County Schools. She believes in the inherent ability of her students and works with them to develop their academic, behavioral and social development. The impact of her teaching is evidenced in the number of students who not only enjoy her classes, but return to visit her after they leave the elementary school. She constantly strives to improve her teaching and her students' learning by attending professional development events and activities. Ms. Hensley also strives to keep instruction relevant for her students.
