About the Nominee: Caroline Snyder was nominated by her principal, Renee Simms.Ms. Snyder has worked at Hillcrest High School for 13 years. Eleven of those years have been spent working with her principal, Ms. Simms. Ms. Snyder is someone who truly loves students and wants to help make her school and community the best it can be. She is vested in the school, in the students and in her community. Ms. Snyder is the sponsor for several school organizations/clubs, including Junior Leadership, Mock Trial Club, School Improvement Committee, Rising Star Committee, and the Instructional Practices Inventory (IPI) Team. In addition, she organizes prom every year.Ms. Simms is most proud of Ms. Snyder's involvement with the Mock Trial Club/Team. Ms. Snyder took a small team and built it up with her students. They have won a regional competition and attended the state competition last year. More importantly, she has had hundreds of former students get involved in the electoral process and sign up to work as election workers for the last five years. She is truly a team player and is well respected among her peers. She has made a significant impact on Hillcrest High School, and her community is blessed to have her as a LifeChanger!
