About the Nominee: Christi Jones was nominated by Casey Davis.Mrs. Jones is a dynamic person at every level of her professional and personal life! In addition to her work as a counselor, she is also the mother of a college freshman and is working on her doctorate. She, along with the help of several local churches and clubs, started a backpack program at her school to provide meals for students who might not have regular meals over the holidays or weekends.A few years ago, Mrs. Jones was awarded the Alabama Counselor of the Year for her accomplishments and represented Alabama and the United States at the National Counseling Conference as a presenter in 2016. Mrs. Jones never forgets the reason that she does what she does every day. That reason is her students, along with her teachers. She has a servant's heart, and she is always going above and beyond the call of duty to be the counselor her school needs.
