About the Nominee: Donna Harvey was nominated by Marcia Lawson.Ms. Harvey loves her students and demonstrates a passion for her job. She promotes a nurturing atmosphere and takes every opportunity to let each student know that they are special. Often times, when Ms. Lawson stops by the school, Ms. Harvey will be wearing a shirt with a college logo. Ms. Lawson asked if she was an alumni of a particular school, and Ms. Harvey responded by saying that she wasn't an alumni, but that she wanted to imprint in the minds of these students at a very early age the benefits and rewards of going to college.
