About the Nominee: Gwen Hatchett was nominated by a colleague, Katrell Ramsey.Ms. Hatchett has been a teacher for over 30 years. She works very hard with her first graders to help them get where they need to be. She not only teaches academics, but daily life skills her students will need. Ms. Hatchett doesn't give up; no matter how tired she is, she shows up to work every day and does her best! She genuinely cares about her students and forms connections with them. She communicates well with parents and keeps them up to date. Ms. Hatchett is a great, hard working teacher and LifeChanger!
