About the Nominee: Herdyne Mercier was nominated by Renee Porcena.It is rare to meet a teacher like Ms. Mercier who is so passionate about her job and "Kinderbabies," as she likes to call her students. Her passion and her vision for her students keeps everyone on their toes. She gets every community she can to help her get supplies for her students. Ms. Mercier even started a registry where she solicited donations from individuals and businesses for her students. She advertised, made videos and took pictures. As a result, she has everything she needs to help her students and make them feel as the special humans they were created to be with, with endless dreams! No one can pay this teacher for the excitement she brings to her students as she teaches them how to be all that they can be. It is amazing! Everyone should follow her stories.
