About the Nominee: Jackie Hollister was nominated by Surray Serpa-Boyle, the parent of a student.Ms. Hollister is an amazing educator and person. She is excellent when it comes to truly getting to know her students, their strengths and weaknesses. She helped Ms. Serpa-Boyle's son to learn to deal with his emotions in a positive and respectful way, which helped him to become a happy and confident middle schooler. Ms. Hollister always goes the extra mile to help her students, even when it's on her own time.Ms. Serpa-Boyle states that she and her family will never forget the kindness and love that Ms. Hollister has shown them. Many parents of her other students feel the same!
