About the Nominee: Joni Siler was nominated by her superintendent, Teresa Belote.Ms. Siler is an amazing woman! There are so many reasons she is a LifeChanger in her community. She brings people together through the arts in education. Her role with the thespian group allows students to grow and gain confidence outside of the classroom. She celebrates diversity and encourages students to be the best versions of themselves they can be. Ms. Siler embraces opportunities to build leadership skills in her kids.Superintendent Belote recently visited Ms. Siler's classroom and saw firsthand how she balanced high expectations with a growth mindset and helped students recognize their potential. Ms. Siler also has a kind heart. One can find her at various community activities. Additionally, she is an active member of her church, where her husband is the minister. People know they can come to Ms. Siler with a problem because she will listen and support them. That is why she is a LifeChanger!
