About the Nominee: Kelley Bowen goes out of her way to help students, both inside and outside of school. Students confide in her and trust her; she influences them to make good choices in their life. Students enjoy her classes and the many creative projects she assigns to them. Not only is Ms. Bowen a great teacher, but she also takes time outside of school to support the community by holding art sales and art auctions. She is involved in extracurricular activities, serving as a member of the Culture and Climate Committee as well as ILT. Ms. Bowen is always around to lend a helping hand, not only to students, but to teachers as well.
