About the Nominee: Megan Stewart was nominated by a colleague, Jennifer Whitehead.Ms. Stewart is an extremely hard working educator who is dedicated to the students and communities she serves. She has a unique ability to meet the needs of all students through her vibrant personality, as well as her ability to speak multiple languages within a diverse educational setting. Ms. Stewart loves teaching dance and yoga to all of her 6th-9th grade students, who learn peaceful practices that they can use throughout their daily lives.
