About the Nominee: Nathan Collins was nominated by his principal, Susan Hyatt.Nathan Collins impacts the students of Riverchase Middle School every day. Not only does he teach them about history and the world around them, but he also teaches them about being good citizens. Mr. Collins is a former Marine and a man who is very proud of his country. His dedication to teaching, his students and his country is an inspiration. In addition to all of this, he is Riverchase's head football coach. He touches the lives of the school's young men and shows them how to be members of a team.
