About the Nominee: Pam Miller was nominated by a colleague, Tracy Nellins.Ms. Miller is dedicated to closing the gaps in student achievement. She works to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual students. She takes time to personally connect with students and work with their parents to help their children succeed. Ms. Miller is also a leader; she makes herself available to help new teachers, not only with general information about how things work at Village Academy, but by modelling how to handle different situations. She always has the time to help a colleague.
