About the Nominee: Amy Petersen was nominated by a family member, Ann Marie Miller.Ms. Petersen is truly a champion for her students! She provides a creative, productive learning environment in her classroom. Her students are fortunate to have a teacher that demands respect and appropriate behavior while still having fun. Ms. Petersen has recently completed her Masters' degree in an effort to expand her abilities to teach, nurture and motivate elementary-aged students.
