About the Nominee: D'Anne Wester was nominated by a colleague, Melissa Suddith.It is hard to express how wonderful D'Anne Wester is with all of Caledonia High School's students. She is their mother, counselor, shoulder and adviser. Her colleague and nominator, Melissa Suddith, says that Ms. Wester does so much in her daily routine that she is astounded with her time management skills. She says that she does not understand how Ms. Wester accomplishes everything that she does.Ms. Wester creates schedules for the school's juniors and seniors, coordinates all testing and meets one-on-one with any student who needs her help or advice. Additionally, she works with parents and administrators as well as teachers. Indeed, she is a "super woman!" She also gives back to the community with service projects that involve all of her students. She is simply the heart and soul of Caledonia High School, and it's hard to imagine life there without her.
