About the Nominee: Elizabeth Schneider was nominated by her principal, Kelly Zeinert.Ms. Schneider is a positive, energetic, and passionate teacher. She is in charge of several organizations, including Student Council and the Veteran's Day Breakfast, and she is also co-chair of the Technology Committee. Her involvement in the school and her dedication to the Shiocton community is incredible.Ms. Zeinert states that Ms. Schneider is her go-to teacher. Since taking over the social studies position at Shiocton, Ms. Schneider has created a hands-on, technology-driven and culturally rich classroom environment. She exposes students to diverse programs through the numerous field trips she takes with the students (i.e, visiting a Jewish temple, as well as a mosque). She has facilitated several classes through Fox Valley Technical College so students can earn college credit while still in high school.Ms. Schneider is a LifeChanger in her community because of her passion for history, and for sharing that passion with her students. She possesses a strong desire to move the district forward through technology integration and being a technology leader in the school, as well as a desire to give back to the community through organizing the Veteran's Day Breakfast. Ms. Schneider is eager to share her gifts with everyone!
