About the Nominee: Michelle Bollen was nominated by the parent of a student, Clara Watkins.As a parent of a fifth grader at Cottage Hill Elementarty, Ms. Watkins saw how Mrs. Bollen worked with her students and went above and beyond with her son, who was struggling in some areas. She is a very committed teacher who is constantly seeking out resources to make sure her students enjoy their experience at the school. Ms. Watkins truly believes that Mrs. Bollen is the "Best!" Due to Mrs. Bollen's dedication, Ms. Watkins' son has improved in his school work and is very confident in his studies. Ms. Watkins and her son know that it was Mrs. Bollen's love and support that changed his life.
