About the Nominee: Ricardo Rios is a great mentor to and role model for his students! They look up to and admire him. At Immanuel Christian School, he started a club called World Changers of El Paso which has almost 30 student members. The club meets every Wednesday to do community outreach; students in the club go to a local shelter and provide the families there with meals. They also go the extra mile by interacting with the children through games and activities. These students have held mattress, grocery food and toy drives for the shelters as well. They are currently working with more than 13 local shelters, ranging from emergency homeless shelters to women and children's homes. Mr. Rios has made a tremendous impact on his students.
