About the Nominee: Seth Warren was nominated by a student from his current senior class as a way to say "Thank you." This is the second year that Mr. Warren has been nominated for LifeChanger of the Year. He was previously nominated for the 2015-2016 school year.Seth Warren means more to the Roanoke Rapids High School community than anyone will ever know. He comes in early, stays late, and his students know they can count on him to be there for them when they need him the most. Mr. Warren has shown his students that there is more to school than textbooks and PowerPoints and that he loves them. He helps other teachers when needed, and he coaches basketball. Mr. Warren helped with a men-to-men summit that his students attended at a local college, where they learned about what it means to be a man.He is a great man and not an everyday teacher. He cares about his students and makes them all feel welcomed and safe. One student said that Mr. Warren helped them when they were about to drop out and made sure the student remained in school. Mr. Warren even stayed after school on a Friday to help the student.Mr. Warren has changed many lives, and he tells his students that they are his kids.
